About the Film
Between Worlds is an experimental exploration of consciousness, blending hand-drawn animation with live-action footage to create a dreamlike visual experience.
Artistic Approach
The film deliberately blurs the line between mediums, using rotoscoping and traditional animation techniques to transform reality into something more fluid and subjective.
Technique
We developed a custom workflow combining:
- 16mm film footage
- Hand-drawn rotoscope animation
- Digital compositing
- Generative audio design
The result is a piece that exists in its own visual language, neither fully live-action nor purely animated.
