The Last Frame began as a simple question: what drives artists to keep creating when they know the end is near? The answer, as we discovered, was far more complex and beautiful than we anticipated.
Featured Photographers
The documentary follows three photographers in their final years of work:
- Margaret Chen, 89, known for her street photography in 1960s San Francisco
- Robert Okonkwo, 82, whose war photography changed public opinion
- Yuki Tanaka, 91, a pioneer of abstract photography
Recognition
The film premiered at DOC NYC 2023 and has since screened at over 20 festivals worldwide.
